And promptly took it to the lake with the kayak! That was infinitely easier than previously with the Malibu. For obvious reasons. The stupid TPMS light keeps coming on and “Service TPMS” on the dash board. Sucks. But I’m likely just going to put a piece of black electrical tape over it! :)
Quiet little area outside the main lake. Less wind. More peace.
I haven’t taken any other pictures of the truck yet. I might soon. Stay tuned.

Yeah man! Thank you! I'm pumped. Getting better MPG than I thought it would too! 16 in mixed driving!

Well, yeah. Lol. I'll get more. I'm surprised at how clean it is for 140k miles.

Bad TPMS sensor. Replace them next time you put tires on. Congrats on the buy, it will last a long time. Bed rust?

I purposely did not take a picture of the tpms warning. My average is down from 16 mpg to 11 mpg. Mixed driving here means ice mixed with snow.
Nice truck. 4 kayaks and one canoe fits pretty well in a sb Chevy.

Haha. Does the mix make that much of a difference in your fuel mileage? The utility of this thing is quite awesome! Hell, I was struggling to get 20 mpg out of the beat up old Malibu, so, I’ll take 16!

I wonder if they can narrow it down to one in specific? I hate to just go replacing stuff. Zero rush on the whole truck. Bought in NC, owned at Myrtle Beach for the last few years (same owner just moved) and garage kept most of that time.

16-17 on the e way is normal for me. Mine is t he 6.0 awd though. In the winter it sits and idles a lot.
U will get pretty close Mpgs to the Malibu for sure.

If you take it to like discount tire and ask them to turn off the tpms light the programmer they use will tell them which one is bad
And then they’ll sell you a new one for like $60. They really don’t need to take the tire off the wheel to do it, especially on a truck

Nice! I usually don't like Chevy pickups as much, but I do like this particular generation. Looks like you got a good one.

That’s my hope! I will do a highway mileage test this coming saturday. I am looking forward to see if I can eek out over 20.

It’s weird, when this first came out in 2007, I hated it. It was too derpy looking (and that’s before that was a word!) But, it has grown on me as one of the better looking generations.

They will absolutely be able to pinpoint which one it is. However, they tend to fail in clusters, as the batteries are all the same age and have done relatively the same job.
